Today we watched the video on the man who has a companionship with a goose.  Her name is Maria. He goes to the park everyday and walks around the pond.  The goose fallows him everywhere he goes. SHe even tries to fly home with him. They keep her in a safe place so she is always there when he comes.

A-Roll  SOME GIRLS DO ACTUALLY LIKE FOOTBALL OR WRESTLING. SO WHY DON’T WE EVER SEE THEM ON TEAMS? “ I have older brothers so I’ve been raised around football and I wanted to play in middle school and even High-school I’ve thought about wrestling”-Rachel Arellano A LOT OF PEOPLE THINK THE ONLY REASON THE DON’T JOIN IS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT ALOUD TO. THERE ARE EASILY MANY MORE REASONS TO IT. INCLUDING NOT FITTING IN. “Not saying I wouldn’t treat her the same, but I know for a fact she would be treated differently by everyone! Players, coaches, other teams, fans!”- Jack Bernstien “They would probably think I am weak when I am not and they wouldn’t include me in things like practices. Q: What would you consider a boy sport?
A: " Well the obvious would be football or wrestling."
Q:DO ou like any of these sports?
A: "Ya! I love to play football in the summers!"
Q:Would you ever join a team?  Why?
A: "No because it is too much of a boy sport"
Q:Do you think you would be treated differentl?
A: "Ya because they would probably would think I am weak and they wouldnt include me in things like in practices"

Q: What would you concider a "girl" sport?
A: "I consider like cheerleading and dance girl sports"
Q: Do you have any interests in sports like gymnastics or volleyball?
A: "I love to watch volleyball and gymnastics"
Q: Would you even join the volleyball team or gmnastics if you could?
A: " Hahaha No, I only play volleyball in the summer if that counts?"
Q: What would your perception be of a girl who is joining the football team and you didnt know her? What do you think she would be like?
A: "Well I would respect her for going outside the comfort zone and playing the most phsical sport in the world!"
Q: Would she be treated the same as a guy on the team?
A: "NOoo! Not saing I wouldnt treat her the same, but I know for a fact she would be treated diffferently by everyone! Players, coachers, other teams, fans!"
Q: What would be your opinion on a boy joining cheerleading?
A: " Honestly my 1st thought would be that he was probably gay..but ya never know!"

A: "Well of course the stereotpe sports like football, etc."
Q: Have you ever shown interest in playing sports like football or wrestling?
A: "Yes! I have older brothers so I've been raised around football and I wanted to pla in middle school and even in High-school I've thought about wrestling"
Q:  Have you ever tried joining the team?
A: "I've tried. But because of my parents I couldn't. They sa I'm to small and the don't want me to get hurt. But I think if ou put me up against a guy my size I would definatl put up a great fight!"
Q: Do you think people would think different of a girl if the joined the football team or wrestling team?  What would be their perceptions of her if the didnt know her very well?
A: "Well I know from experience the wont treat you any different than they do their guy team mates the might give you props or maybe even put downs." "Other teams will go for you because they see you as weak and fragile."                                                   
Q: Do you think that your cheerleading team would be different if a guy joined? Would he be treated differently?
A: "If we had a guy or more we would definatly have more difficult stunts if he had the strength. He might be put in the back for dancing but it all depends on the experience level." "He would be welcomed with open arms."
Q: What do you think other students would think of him if the didnt know him very well?
A: " Well some would definatl give him props because he gets to touch a girls butt, but others might call him gay or other names. It always depends on the person."

This article on Susan Smith was talking about how she murdered her own kids.  She put them in their carseats and put the car in the water. The drowned to death all because of their own mother. The reason for doing this she says is that she would then get sympathy from her former husband and also would be one less reason for him to stay away from him.
